Santo Domingo. – As part of the mission to bring services and solutions to people with disabilities and their families nationwide, the National Council on Disability (CONADIS) will hold its sixth social inclusion day “CONADIS for Everyone this Saturday in Higüey, La Altagracia province. The conferences, designed to bring services closer to people with disabilities and their families, have impacted more than 600 people at each meeting, establishing themselves as a space for comprehensive care that responds to priority needs in health, accessibility, and rights.

In each delivery, people with disabilities and their families have had access to disability assessment and registration services, delivery of support devices, medical consultations in various specialties, as well as the supply of medications. In addition, orientation and accompaniment processes are carried out to strengthen social inclusion and improve the quality of life of the benefited population. With this effort, CONADIS reaffirms its commitment to work hand in hand with communities to guarantee equal opportunities, promote full inclusion, and bring solutions that directly and positively impact people with disabilities throughout the national territory.
