AZUA.– A couple reported alleged difficulties in obtaining a response from the judicial authorities after a traffic accident that occurred in the section known as El Número, where they allege that a vehicle had invaded their lane causing a high-impact collision.
The event was recorded during the Easter break and, according to the testimony of those affected, the driver of the other vehicle would have left the scene after the incident.
As a result of the collision, both suffered serious injuries that led to the loss of limbs, a situation that has completely changed their daily lives and their ability to generate income.

The affected individuals, parents of three children, state that they have faced obstacles in the process to move the case forward in the corresponding instances of the province of Azua, therefore they request the intervention of the Public Ministry to expedite the investigations.
They also request that the identified driver be identified, with the aim that he be held responsible for the physical and material damages caused, alleging that their current health condition prevents them from working and supporting their family.
The couple insists that their case be given priority due to the severity of the after-effects and the economic situation they are in after the accident.
