The Central Bank of the Dominican Republic published the reference prices for the purchase and sale of the US dollar for this Tuesday, March 24, 2026, as follows:
In financial institutions, the average rate for the sale of the US currency was RD$61.36, while the purchase rate reached RD$58.66.
For their part, remittance and exchange agents reported a selling rate of RD$61.19 and a buying rate of RD$59.86.
Despite the market showing a slight daily depreciation compared to last week’s quotation (of -0.42% in bank sales), the medium and long-term figures reflect the strength of the Dominican peso.
Regarding a month ago, the buying rate in financial institutions went from RD$60.25 to the current RD$58.66, which represents an appreciation of 2.70%.
