Santiago de los Caballeros.- Santiago’s gastronomic offering is strengthened with the opening of Dos Tierras, a restaurant that bets on an innovative combination of Dominican and Mexican cuisines, becoming a new space where culture, creativity, and culinary experience converge in the same place.
The proposal stands out for offering two parallel menus that highlight the identity and richness of two of the most representative cuisines of Latin America. While Dominican cuisine is presented with traditional recipes reinterpreted through contemporary techniques, Mexican cuisine maintains the authenticity of its flavors, colors, and culinary traditions.
One of the main attractions of the restaurant is its exclusive “Chef’s Recommendation” section, a rotating selection of four to five fusion dishes that combine ingredients and techniques from both cultures, providing visitors with a different experience on each visit.

Located on Panama Street in the Villa Olga sector, the establishment was born from the initiative of entrepreneurs Rosa María Núñez, Ideilme Tamayo, and Eudis Peralta, who present a concept that goes beyond traditional dining by integrating gastronomy, art, entertainment, and cultural experiences.
As part of its commitment to quality, Dos Tierras artisanally crafts its corn tortillas and a variety of bakery and pastry products, guaranteeing freshness and authenticity in every preparation.
In addition to its gastronomic proposal, the restaurant has been designed as a multifunctional space for social and cultural gatherings. Its facilities include a main dining room, a terrace conceived as an artistic and cultural hub, two private rooms for events, and an exclusive indoor and outdoor cigar lounge with a selection of Dominican cigars.

The establishment’s agenda includes thematic activities, corporate meetings, artistic events, tastings, pairings, workshops, and personalized experiences for its clients.
“More than a restaurant, Dos Tierras is a cultural and gastronomic space that unites two culinary traditions of great relevance. We are the meeting point between flavors, people, and experiences, where each visit becomes a journey of discovery and enjoyment,” expressed Rosa María Núñez during the opening.
With this initiative, Santiago adds a new gastronomic landmark that seeks to position itself as a destination for those who wish to enjoy Dominican and Mexican cuisine in an environment that combines tradition, innovation, and memorable experiences.
