EDUMÁS Radio expands its national coverage and strengthens access to educational content

Santo Domingo.– The Educational and Cultural Multimedia EDUMÁS, attached to the Vice Ministry of Technical and Pedagogical Affairs of the Ministry of Education of the Dominican Republic (MINERD), continues to consolidate its process of institutional transformation and strengthening through the expansion of EDUMÁS Radio’s coverage, which will allow for the delivery of educational, cultural, and formative content to a greater number of communities throughout the national territory.

This expansion represents a milestone for the educational platform, as historically EDUMÁS Radio had a reach limited to some areas of Greater Santo Domingo. Thanks to technical strengthening and the increase in its transmission power, the station managed to extend its signal nationwide through the 95.3 FM frequencies for Santo Domingo and the South and East regions, and 106.5 FM for the Cibao region and the Northern Zone.

The expansion of coverage will allow for reaching a broader audience with programming designed for students, teachers, mothers, fathers, and the entire educational community, offering content focused on academic support, values-based education, family guidance, holistic well-being, and the strengthening of learning processes.

As part of the transformation driven by EDUMÁS, the station also reorganized and updated its programming schedule with a more strategic and modern vision, integrating educational, cultural, youth, family, informative, and guidance-oriented spaces, adapted to new communication trends and content consumption.
