Exceeds RD$15,000 million in mortgage disbursements at the end of September
Santo Domingo. – The Banco
Popular Dominicano was recognized, for the second consecutive year, as the Best Real Estate Bank in the Dominican Republic by the international financial magazine Euromoney, highlighting its sustained leadership in the mortgage sector, its financial innovation and the social impact of its initiatives.
This award coincides with the results obtained by the entity at the close of September 2025: in the first nine months of 2025, Banco Popular exceeded RD$15,000 million in mortgage disbursements. This figure consolidates the financial organization in the mortgage market with a relevant participation of 28.87% to date.
These disbursements from January to the end of September translate into more than 3,100 loans granted to Dominican families, of which 57% were channeled through strategic alliances with real estate companies, thus highlighting the leading role of these allies of Banco Popular in the country’s housing ecosystem.

Regarding this, the Executive Vice President of Personal Business and Branches, Mr. Francisco Ramírez, highlighted the robust network of more than 785 active mortgage alliances nationwide. These alliances allow Popular to offer personalized solutions, comprehensive advice, and support in every step of the property acquisition process.
