Head of security at the Ministry of Agriculture is arrested for investigation

Santo Domingo. – It transpired this Friday that the Central Directorate of Criminal Investigations (Dicrim) of the National Police, in coordination with the Specialized Prosecutor’s Office for the Prosecution of Administrative Corruption (Pepca), arrested the head of security of the Ministry of Agriculture and the head of personal security of Minister Limber Cruz. The detainees were identified as Colonel Regalado and the Israeli military man Harel Katz, who remain in the custody of the Public Ministry.

According to the information obtained, both will be subjected to an interrogation process for alleged irregularities related to the management of public resources. The Attorney General’s Office reported that it will offer an official statement in the coming hours on the scope of the investigations and the charges that could be brought against the detained officers.
