Santo Domingo– Nayarit, Mexico, will host the III Caribbean Kids Series from August 10 to 16, 2026, after the Assembly of Presidents of the Caribbean Professional Baseball Confederation (CBPC) approved the tournament’s venue during the meeting held in Hermosillo.

The tournament, reserved for the U12 category, will be hosted at the Coloso del Pacífico “Don Alejo Peralta” Stadium in Tepic, a stadium with a capacity for nearly 10,000 spectators and home to the Jaguares de Nayarit in the Mexican Pacific League.

As in the two previous editions, six teams will compete. Mexico, as the host country, will be represented by two squads, including Tomateritos de Culiacán, champion of the IV Children’s Tournament of the Mexican Pacific League (Liga ARCO), which concluded on June 7 in Ciudad Obregón.
The presence of delegations from the Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, Venezuela, and Panama is also expected. Like Mexico, the Dominican Republic and Panama will participate with the representative teams from their respective children’s tournaments.
More details about the tournament, including the game schedule, will be announced at a press conference scheduled for this Friday from the event’s headquarters.

The Kids Caribbean Series held its first edition in Panama in 2024, while the second took place in Caracas-La Guaira in 2025. On both occasions, the Dominican Republic’s representative was crowned champion.
With only three editions, the Kids Caribbean Series has established itself as one of the main development initiatives promoted by the CBPC, by offering a competitive showcase for the best U12 talent and promoting baseball values among new generations. The tournament has sparked growing interest among fans, media, and sports organizations, thanks to the high level of competition and the enthusiasm shown by the young players each day.
