Santo Domingo Este. A resident of the San José de Mendoza sector reported that a contractor from a company that provides services for the electric utility allegedly removed his home’s energy meter irregularly, leaving him without electrical service and affecting his family, including a six-month-old baby.
The complainant, Daury Rafael Mateo Severino, explained that the incident occurred around 6:30 in the evening on Thursday, August 13, when a brigade identified with the badge AC-EU-1411, belonging —as he claimed— to the contractor company Eureka, entered the residential area and removed the meter without prior notification or authorization.
Mateo stated that the meter, corresponding to NIC 4351133 and number 24013773, was removed directly from the panel of his home, located on the San Isidro highway, San José de Mendoza sector, in Santo Domingo Este.
