Santo Domingo.– The rector of the Instituto Tecnológico de Las Américas (ITLA), engineer Jimmy Rosario Bernard, and the general director of Government Ethics and Integrity (DIGEIG), Dr. Milagros Ortiz Bosch, held a strategic meeting with the objective of establishing a joint work agenda aimed at strengthening ethics, transparency, integrity, and digital transformation in the Dominican public administration.
The meeting represents the beginning of an alliance through which both institutions will develop initiatives aimed at the public sector and the academic community. Among the agreed actions are the expansion of internship opportunities for students, support for the digital transformation processes of the DIGEIG, and the design of specialized training programs to strengthen the technical and operational skills of its staff.
Rosario Bernard highlighted that this collaboration will contribute to consolidating an institutional culture based on ethics, innovation, transparency, and excellence in public management.

During the meeting, both authorities reaffirmed their commitment to promote projects that foster governmental integrity, strengthen transparency within State institutions, and contribute to the development of a more efficient, modern public administration oriented toward serving the citizenry.
