Santo Domingo. The Central Electoral Board (JCE) announced that, starting August 1st, a new service schedule will go into effect for the Extended Service ID Centers, formerly known as Continuous Service Centers.

The measure, approved by the institution’s Plenary, establishes that these centers will offer services to the public from Monday to Sunday, from 8:00 in the morning until 12:00 midnight, eliminating the service hours that were previously held during the early morning.

With this modification, the JCE seeks to optimize the provision of its services, maintaining extended hours that facilitate citizens in carrying out procedures related to the issuance and renewal of the identity and electoral card.

The new schedule will be applied in the Extended Service ID Centers located in Barahona, Herrera, National District, La Romana, La Vega, Las Américas, San Cristóbal, San Francisco de Macorís, San Pedro de Macorís and Santiago.
