Santo Domingo.– The Jet Set Justice Movement launched a humanitarian aid collection drive to support families affected by the recent earthquakes in Venezuela, by setting up several collection centers in different parts of the Dominican Republic.
The initiative, called “United for Venezuela”, seeks to collect non-perishable food, drinking water, medicines, medical supplies, and personal hygiene items to be sent to communities facing the consequences of the emergency.
The organization reported that the donations will be delivered next Sunday, July 5th to the CADOVEN center, located in Sambil, where they will also collaborate with the sorting, packaging, and preparation process of the supplies before their shipment.
The collection centers enabled to receive aid are:
- OMI Dental, Máximo Gómez Avenue corner Arturo Logroño, Ensanche La Fe, Santo Domingo.
- Panipueblo, 99 Sánchez Street, Miramar, San Pedro de Macorís.
- Melegal Law Firm, 1 Verde Avenue, Los Álamos, Santiago de los Caballeros.
- Plaza Merengue, Duarte Street corner Río Haina, Haina.
The movement called on citizens, companies, and institutions to join this solidarity day, highlighting that every contribution can help alleviate the needs of those affected by the earthquakes.

Likewise, he highlighted that emergencies caused by natural disasters require the support of all of society and that solidarity represents a fundamental tool to provide hope and support to communities going through difficult times.
With the message “Today for them, tomorrow for everyone,” the Justice Jet Set Movement seeks to motivate more people to participate in the campaign and turn solidarity into concrete actions in favor of the Venezuelan people.
