Salcedo, Hermanas Mirabal province. — Mr. José Luis Hidalgo de la Rosa, a resident of the municipality of Salcedo, was injured after suffering a dramatic traffic accident while traveling in an SUV bound for the municipality of Villa Tapia.
According to preliminary information, the driver reportedly lost control of the vehicle for reasons that are still under investigation, which caused the SUV to flip several times until it was completely destroyed.
Hidalgo de la Rosa was assisted by people who were at the scene of the accident and subsequently transported to a health center, where he is receiving medical attention.
