Michigan, USA– A man shot and killed his wife and their six children, aged between five and 15, before taking his own life at their home located in Grand Haven Township, in the state of Michigan, authorities reported.
The case came to light after emergency teams responded to a fire report at the residence. Upon entering the property, they found the bodies of the eight family members.
According to the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office, autopsies confirmed that the victims died from gunshot wounds and established that the alleged perpetrator was the father of the family, who subsequently committed suicide.
The victims were identified as Kristopher Karolkiewicz, his wife Amanda, and their six children.
