Tragedy in Villa Mella: man kills woman and is then lynched by community members

Santo Domingo Norte. – A tragic act of violence shook the afternoon of this Sunday in the Residencial Primaveral sector, in Villa Mella, where a woman lost her life after being allegedly attacked with a machete by a man, who was later killed by a crowd. According to preliminary reports, the aggressor intercepted the victim and inflicted multiple wounds with a bladed weapon, causing their death at the scene. After the attack, several citizens who witnessed the scene reacted immediately and attacked the alleged perpetrator, causing their death. The incident occurred in front of National Police units that were in the area, although no details have been offered so far about the agents’ intervention or the exact circumstances in which the events took place.
