Monte Plata.– The Permanent Attention Court of the Judicial District of Monte Plata postponed this Wednesday morning the hearing for the coercive measure against four men accused of their alleged participation in the robbery of an armored truck and a gas station, where 12 million pesos were stolen, located in the municipal district of Don Juan.
The hearing was rescheduled for this Friday at 9:00 a.m., after the defense attorneys requested the postponement in order to have sufficient time to study the case file and prepare the defense strategy for their clients.
The defendants are Juan Carlos Suárez López, Benito Sánchez García, Aneuris Adolfo Ortiz Ogando, and Remy Alberto González Adón.

According to the defense attorneys, their clients have no connection to the facts attributed to them by the Public Prosecutor’s Office, which is why they maintain that they will prove their innocence during the judicial process.
It is expected that at next Friday’s hearing, the Public Prosecutor’s Office will present the evidence supporting the request for a coercive measure, while the defense will present its arguments before the court.
