Police arrest “Titi” and others involved in armed robbery at a fast food establishment in La Vega
La Vega.- Luis Jordany Encarnación Reyes (a) “Titi”, 20 years old, was arrested, accused of participating in an armed robbery against several citizens who were in a fast food establishment in the municipality of La Vega, an event that was disseminated through social media.
Members of the Regional Sub-Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DICRIM), through intelligence work and investigative follow-up, managed to identify and arrest the alleged perpetrators of the act, being Encarnación Reyes (a) “Titi” and Fernando Arturo Reinoso Abreu (a) “Fernando Lachapel”, who had allegedly stripped several people of their belongings using a firearm, while traveling on a scooter.
As part of the investigative process, Miguel Ángel Hernández Tapia (a) “El Betial”, 51 years old, was also arrested, who was found with a Samsung cell phone, gray in color, property of one of the affected citizens during the assault. In the course of the investigations, Yadizon Domingo Cruz, linked to the possession of the aforementioned mobile device, was also arrested.
