Spider-Man: Brand New Day surpasses US$1 billion and becomes the second fastest movie to achieve it

The success of the new Spider-Man installment is not limited to its speed in reaching US$1 billion. The film also managed to become the biggest opening weekend in the history of the US box office, with US$360 million, surpassing the record that until then belonged to Avengers: Endgame.
