Thousands attend “Long Live Mothers” concerts in southern provinces of the country

Santo Domingo.- The concert platform “Que Vivan las Madres, Madre Te Quiero” concluded a tour of several southern provinces of the country with artistic performances and the delivery of gifts to mothers, in activities carried out during the month of May with the support of the Government. The events took place in the municipalities of Las Matas de Farfán, San Juan de la Maguana, Canoa de Barahona and San José de Ocoa, where thousands of people attended the concerts headlined by national artists of different musical genres. The tour began in Las Matas de Farfán with performances by Bonny Cepeda, Michell El Buenón and Crazy Design, while the animation was in charge of Maikol Miguel Holguín. Subsequently, in San Juan de la Maguana, the event brought together a large number of attendees in the area of the Arch of Triumph. There, Steffany Constanza and Wason Brazobán performed. During the activity, Mayor Lenin de la Rosa went on stage with Brazobán in one of the interventions of the night.

The organizers reported that attendance in San Juan exceeded expectations. The day concluded with a surprise participation by Crazy Design, who performed several songs with Wason Brazobán. The platform continued in Canoa, Barahona, where residents from different communities attended the artistic activities held in public spaces in the area. Steffany Constanza and Crazy Design also participated in this stop. The closing of the tour took place in San José de Ocoa, coinciding with the inauguration of the province’s aqueduct. Jandy Ventura and Bulin 47 performed in this presentation, in addition to Bonny Cepeda. During the concert, Senator Aneudy Ortiz Sajiun accompanied Bonny Cepeda in a musical performance before the audience. The initiative was supported by public institutions and private companies, including Banreservas, Wind Telecom, RD Vial and Ministry of Tourism of the Dominican Republic. The general production was handled by the artistic entrepreneur Luis Medrano and his team.
