Santo Domingo, D.R.– The United States Ambassador to the Dominican Republic, Leah Campos, reported that she carried out a working visit to Washington D.C., where she held meetings with officials and representatives of various U.S. government institutions to discuss matters of bilateral interest related to security, trade, and health.
According to a communication released by the diplomat, during her mid-July agenda she met with representatives from the White House, the Department of State, the Department of Health, the Office of the United States Trade Representative (USTR), and members of Congress.
Campos also arranged a meeting with the U.S. Secretary of Health, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., in which the Dominican Vice President Raquel Peña and the Minister of Public Health, Víctor Atallah, participated.

According to the information shared by the embassy, during that meeting, Dr. Ernesto Fadul’s proposal regarding the use of natural supplements in the treatment of autism was addressed, as well as the reports related to the results of said approach.
