UASD suspends teaching activities at the Central Headquarters due to the application of the ENURM on February 28th

Santo Domingo. – The Autonomous University of Santo Domingo (UASD) informed the suspension of undergraduate and postgraduate teaching activities at the Central Headquarters on Saturday, February 28 and Sunday, March 1, 2026, due to the application of the National Unique Exam for Medical Residences (ENURM). The measure is contained in Circular No. 004-2026, issued this February 23 by the Rector’s Office of the academy, which explains that the ENURM will be given on Sunday, March 1, which makes it necessary to prepare classrooms and areas for the development of the evaluation process. In the document, signed by the rector Editrudis Beltrán Crisóstomo, it is stated that the provision seeks to facilitate the logistical organization of the exam, guaranteeing adequate conditions for its correct application.

Likewise, university authorities suggest that teaching staff deliver the corresponding content through virtual platforms, in order to ensure compliance with the academic calendar during the period of in-person suspension. UASD reiterated its commitment to the academic processes that contribute to raising professional quality and to institutional support for national evaluation initiatives such as ENURM.
