Santo Domingo.-Sotera Vargas, mother of Rosmery Sosa, 34 years old, recounted the moments before and after the violent event in which her daughter lost her life, which occurred in the Gualey sector.
As explained by Mrs. Vargas, her daughter was consuming alcoholic beverages hours before the incident and subsequently had an argument with her partner, José Ramón. She indicated that the situation escalated into a fight inside the house, where there was evidence of broken objects and disorder.
The mother said that the man went to look for two of his daughters to inform them that Rosmery was seriously injured, but later told them that she was no longer breathing.
Upon the arrival of family members at the scene, the Police were notified. Subsequently, it was confirmed that the woman had died due to injuries caused by a bladed weapon.
