Santo Domingo.– The executive director of the National Health Service (SNS), Dr. Julio Landrón, swore in Dr. Yakaira García Peralta as the new director of the Dra. Evangelina Rodríguez Maternal Hospital, known as the Women’s Hospital, during a ceremony held at the institution’s headquarters.
n” “nThe director of the SNS valued Dr. García Peralta’s solid academic background, extensive experience in healthcare management, and commitment to strengthening health services, ensuring that her leadership will contribute to continuing to raise the quality of maternal and neonatal care offered by the hospital center.
n” “nnn” “n“We trust that Dr. Yakaira García Peralta will carry out a management focused on excellence, the humanization of services, and institutional strengthening, for the benefit of thousands of women and families who receive care at this important hospital,” expressed Landrón.

While thanking for the trust placed in her, Dr. García Peralta reaffirmed her commitment to work alongside the medical, administrative, and support team to consolidate the progress achieved by the health center.
Dr. Yakaira García Peralta is a graduate of the Faculty of Health Sciences at the Autonomous University of Santo Domingo (UASD), where she obtained her degree as a Doctor of Medicine. Subsequently, she completed a specialty in Health Management and Social Security and a Master’s degree in Senior Management. She is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Hospital Management and Health at the University of Murcia, Spain, strengthening her skills with an international vision of healthcare administration.
