Santo Domingo Norte.— A violent incident that occurred on the night of Thursday, December 25, resulted in the death of a young man identified as Enrique Valenzuela, in the vicinity of 7th Street in the Las Casitas Dúplex sector, in Guaricanos, Santo Domingo Norte municipality.
According to preliminary information, the event was recorded around 10:00 p.m., when a fight allegedly broke out that escalated suddenly, generating moments of panic among the people present at the scene.
Amidst the confusion, the young man was seriously injured, allegedly after receiving a stab wound in one of his arms, and was later taken to a health center, where he died due to the severity of the injuries.
As of yet, the authorities have not clarified the exact circumstances of the event nor have they offered details about possible perpetrators. The case is under investigation by the relevant agencies.
The authorities called on citizens to remain calm and collaborate with any information that may contribute to clarifying the event.
