Santo Domingo Norte.– The National Police reported the identification of a man who lost his life after a violent incident that occurred near the Jacinto Peynado bridge, in this municipality, which would be related to old personal grudges.
The victim was identified as
Jairo Rosario Alcántara, alias “
Jairo the Hitman”, 40 years of age, who died due to multiple gunshot wounds, according to the preliminary report from the authorities.
According to initial investigations, the act would have been perpetrated by another individual allegedly linked to criminal activities, identified only as “
Gaby“, who is pointed out as the main suspect in the case.
Authorities indicated that the incident would be motivated by previous personal conflicts between the two, although they specified that the exact circumstances of the event are still under investigation.
National Police agents, along with representatives of the Public Ministry, continue to gather evidence at the scene and collect information to clarify the case and find the whereabouts of the alleged perpetrator.
The institution of order indicated that, as the investigations progress, more details will be offered about this violent event that has generated attention in the Santo Domingo Norte area.
