Complaint in Palenque: community demands intervention in schools and streets in poor condition
San Cristóbal. – Citizens of the Palenque municipality, San Cristóbal province, denounced this Monday morning the conditions of the school infrastructure and access roads that directly affect dozens of people, especially students in the area.
Community members pointed out that the Andrés Valera Vargas school has visible cracks in its structure, which represents a risk to the safety of the children who receive teaching in its classrooms. Likewise, they demanded attention for the José Pérez High School, where, in addition to the need for renovation, they demand the rehabilitation of the surrounding streets to facilitate the safe transfer of students and individuals.
