Bávaro, La Altagracia. – Residents and merchants of Los Corales street, in the tourist area of Bávaro, denounced the advanced deterioration in which this important road is found, a situation that they assure directly affects vehicular traffic, commercial activity and the safety of those who circulate through the area.
According to the community members, the street has numerous potholes, drainage problems, and widespread wear and tear that worsens during the rains, generating water accumulation, blockages, and risks for both drivers and pedestrians. They indicated that these conditions have caused damage to vehicles, delays in mobility, and difficulties in accessing businesses and residences.

The complainants claim that, despite having made multiple claims to the competent authorities, an intervention to definitively solve the problem has not yet been carried out.
Faced with this situation, they made an urgent call to the President of the Republic, Luis Abinader; to the Minister of Tourism, David Collado; and to the Minister of Public Works and Communications, to arrange for the prompt rehabilitation of Los Corales street. They point out that it is an area of high tourist and commercial flow, whose image directly impacts the perception of national and foreign visitors.
