De Último Minuto releases its new October print edition with results from the Markestrategia national survey

The newspaper De Último Minuto released its new print edition for October 2026, featuring a wide variety of journalistic content, investigations, special reports, and the results of a national survey by the firm Markestrategia, which addresses the assessment of government management, electoral preferences for 2028, and the main concerns of the Dominican population.

The publication has as one of its central themes the results of the public opinion study conducted by Markestrategia on October 2, 3, and 4, with a sample of 1,200 people throughout the national territory, whose findings offer an X-ray of the political and social landscape of the Dominican Republic.

Among the most relevant data, the research establishes that 57.3% of those surveyed consider that Luis Abinader has been a good president, while 52.4% approve of his government management. The study also presents different electoral scenarios for the 2028 presidential elections, which include leaders such as David Collado, Omar Fernández, and other figures from the national political and media landscape.

The new edition also dedicates a prominent space to the main problems affecting Dominicans, including citizen insecurity and crime, as well as other matters of public interest that directly affect the population’s quality of life.

The editorial content is complemented by special features, current news, analysis, and reports on national events, reaffirming the media outlet’s commitment to offering an informative proposal that combines the depth of print journalism with the reach and immediacy of its digital platforms.

The director of De Último Minuto, Héctor Romero, highlighted that this new installment is part of the media outlet’s commitment to strengthening journalism that is close to the citizenry, capable of contributing to the knowledge and understanding of the events that shape the national agenda.

“With this new edition, we continue to consolidate our commitment to quality journalism, which is not limited to reporting what happens, but also helps to understand the reality of the country. We want every copy of De Último Minuto to reach the hands of readers with relevant information, investigations, and content that contributes to public debate. In times where digital immediacy predominates, we firmly believe in the value of a printed edition that invites one to pause, read, and reflect,” expressed Romero.

Likewise, he highlighted the importance of expanding distribution channels to ensure that the publication reaches readers from different sectors of society, both in the Dominican Republic and abroad.

“Our purpose is for De Último Minuto to be closer and closer to the people, both on digital platforms and in the streets, institutions, and areas of greatest circulation. This printed edition is a sign of our growth and our vision to continue building a modern, pluralistic media outlet committed to Dominican society,” he added.

The October edition is available in print at various distribution points, including Olé hypermarkets, the Alofoke building, public institutions, Santo Domingo Metro stations, and the main interconnection and passenger circulation centers of Greater Santo Domingo.

Likewise, the newspaper has a presence at distribution points in Santiago and Punta Cana, extending its reach to important areas of the national territory. The circulation also includes New York City, where one of the largest Dominican communities abroad resides.

With this strategy, De Último Minuto seeks to facilitate access to its content and strengthen the bond with readers, taking its journalistic proposal beyond digital platforms.

The new issue can also be consulted in digital format through www.deultimominuto.com, allowing readers to access the publication from anywhere and through their electronic devices.
