The new infrastructure is located in the Copeyito sector of the municipality of Río San Juan, and in the San José de Pastrana community, in Cabrera. The Copeyito station has 344 square meters of construction and will directly benefit more than 3,000 residents, in addition to impacting the municipality of Río San Juan. While the San José de Pastrana detachment, with 165 square meters, has areas for receiving complaints, dormitories for agents, cells for men and women, investigation offices and service spaces. Nagua, María Trinidad Sánchez. – The Government, through the Presidential Commission for Support to Provincial Development (CPADP), inaugurated two police stations in this province with the aim of strengthening citizen security and improving the working conditions of law enforcement officers.
The acts were led by the head of the CPADP, Ángel de la Cruz, and the director general of the National Police of the Dominican Republic, Major General Andrés Modesto Cruz Cruz. Also participating were the provincial governor María López de Espinal, the regional director of the Police, General Francisco Ortega Brito, as well as municipal authorities and community leaders.
