Santo Domingo.- The President of the Republic, Luis Abinader, will travel this Sunday to Dubai, United Arab Emirates, where he will participate in the World Governments Summit 2026 (World Governments Summit – WGS), a high-level annual event that brings together world leaders, officials, experts and the private sector to discuss the future, technological innovation, public policies and sustainability.
Likewise, Abinader will hold bilateral meetings with South American presidents and with Dominican representatives during the summit to discuss issues such as economic prosperity and emerging opportunities.The Dominican president’s participation is a clear sign of the government’s commitment to international cooperation and sustainable development.The World Government Summit, held since 2013, is a key platform where opinion leaders and policymakers converge to discuss problems and opportunities facing humanity and will take place from February 3 to 5 under the slogan “Shaping the Future of Governments”.
