They denounce the unsanitary condition of the Salvador B. Gautier Hospital

Santo Domingo.- The editorial staff of De Último Minuto received audiovisuals showing the state of abandonment and unsanitary conditions of some areas of the Salvador B. Gautier hospital. Mice, unsanitary conditions, foul odors, mold, signs of leaks, trash in common areas, and lack of cleanliness in the rooms are just some of the signs of deterioration in which this public health center is found.

In March of this year, the head of the National Health Service, Mario Lama, reported that work is being done on the design of a structural work project and on the identification of funds to allow the phased intervention of the Salvador B. Gautier Hospital. Despite this announcement, evidence of the serious deterioration in this hospital, inaugurated in 1951, still persists.
