Santo Domingo. – This Wednesday, citizens of the “Mi Vivienda” residential complex in the San Luis I sector, in the Santo Domingo Este municipality, denounced that they are victims of the crime that plagues this residential complex, where on several occasions wrongdoers enter the place and steal gas tanks and other household items from the houses.
Early this morning, five criminals climbed one of the walls while trying to enter the residential area, but luckily a lady found them in the act, observing from the window of her home, and was able to scare them away while shouting “thieves” at them, and so they were able to turn back.
One of the criminals managed to fall on the residential side, but upon hearing the lady speak, he climbed back up and went out into the street.
In that sense, each resident asks the National Police, the Central Investigation Directorate (DICRIM), and all relevant authorities to come to their aid; as it is a case that robs them of peace and keeps them on alert.
