Woman survives knife attack allegedly committed by her ex-partner in Los Alcarrizos

Los Alcarrizos.– A young woman of 18 years old remains admitted to a health center after surviving a violent attack that occurred on the morning of Thursday, November 27, in her residence, located at kilometer 18 of the Duarte highway, Nuevo Amanecer sector.

According to the information provided, the alleged attacker is her ex-partner, Nando Ramírez Soto, 24 years old, known as Darlin or Rechen, who would have broken into the house while the young woman was sleeping and attacked her with a bladed weapon, causing deep wounds to her neck and arm, as well as attempting to suffocate her.

After committing the assault, Ramírez Soto fled the scene and is currently a fugitive, while the authorities continue the search for his arrest. The victim, still hospitalized and in delicate health, called on the public to collaborate with any information that could lead to the whereabouts of the suspect, whom they describe as “highly dangerous” and warns that they could try to “finish what they started”. The case adds to the growing concern over the acts of violence against women recorded in the country, and the authorities urge the population to report any threat or risk situation in a timely manner.
