Santo Domingo.- The animator and television presenter, Josell Hernández, was confirmed this Monday morning by the Association of Art Chroniclers (Acroarte) as one of the official presenters of the red carpet of Premios Soberano 2026.
Josell, who had a successful 2025 after his participation in hosting the “half time” of the reality show La Casa de Alofoke, now adds a new link to his career by being considered by Acroarte to host the carpet, contributing his energy and preparation. The choice of Josell adds dynamism and fresh blood, and is a clear sign of the participation of figures from the new generation of media in the Dominican Republic, this being a very intelligent bet by Acroarte, which seeks to connect with a young audience.
Through social media, figures such as businessman Santiago Matías, Gabi Desangles, and Martha Heredia applauded Acroarte’s choice, considering Josell a figure with great talents and qualities to assume the hosting of the red carpet.
So far, Josell and singer and communicator Amara La Negra have been confirmed for this role as carpet hosts, leaving expectations about who the other presenters of the carpet will be.
Soberano Awards 2026 will be held on March 18th at the Eduardo Brito National Theater in Santo Domingo. The gala will be hosted by presenter and actress Georgina Duluc and actor and comedian Irving Alberti.
