What appeared to be a quiet encounter with turtles ended with an unexpected bite for model Cynthia Benítez Fernández, who shared the unusual moment on TikTok during her vacation.
In the video posted to @cynthiabenitezzz, Cynthia can be seen swimming in the water surrounded by several turtles. Suddenly, one of them approaches from behind and bites her on the buttocks, prompting an immediate reaction from the model.
“They told me they were harmless,” she wrote alongside the video.
The incident took place in Zanzibar, an archipelago belonging to Tanzania, in East Africa, whose islands are located in the Indian Ocean.
The video quickly drew attention because of the unexpected encounter, turning what began as a peaceful experience with the animals into a surprising vacation moment.
