In a conversation with De Último Minuto, prior to his presentation at La Casa de Alofoke, the artist confessed that on the day of the Latin Grammy he had his “sustico” (jitters), as he was competing alongside two merengue legends: Alex Bueno and Milly Quezada.Subsequently, during his presentation, Eddy Herrera performed iconic songs from his career, including: “Pégame tu vicio”, “Demasiado romántica”, “Si yo se lo pido”, “Te amo”, “A dormir juntitos”, “El jardinero” and “Ajena”, while the participants danced and sang along with him. The humorist and impersonator Juan Carlos Pichardo surprised the audience by imitating Eddy Herrera during the presentation, receiving emotional words from the artist on stage. Dani Barranco sang in a duet with Eddy his famous song “A dormir juntitos”, a hit in Venezuelan popular music. Gracie Bon also joined this performance. One of the most impactful moments of the night was when Santiago Matías held in his hands the Grammy recently obtained by Herrera, who also received recognition from Alofoke Media Group for his contributions and outstanding career in the music industry.“I was a little scared because they are also two big ones. If I didn’t win it, they would win it.”
