Santo Domingo. – The son of Care Pepita, Lázaro Nolas, content creator and photographer, shared his emotion after his mother’s unexpected fainting in La Casa de Alofoke 2, when she received the surprise of becoming the owner of an apartment. In a conversation with De Último Minuto after the event, Lázaro recounted how he experienced those moments of tension and, later, joy, after seeing his mother’s deep emotion. “I felt much better, thank God, but when I entered the house, I was super scared. Truly, seeing my mom like that, lying on the floor, with white lips, I was very worried,” commented Lázaro, recalling the distressing moment. “I was watching the live stream outside, and when I saw the door open, I knew I had to go in. Seeing her like that, I felt worse, but then I understood it was a blessing, thanks to Santiago Matías,” she added.

The photographer revealed that his mother always dreamed of being part of La Casa de Alofoke, a project that, according to her own words, represented much more than a simple exhibition on social media for her. Lázaro, who at some point shared the desire to enter the program, assured that although he did not get the opportunity, his mother has changed the life of his entire family. “I am very proud of the mother I have. If I were born again, I would like her to be my mom,” he expressed with a smile of gratitude. Lázaro thanked Santiago Matías for his generosity, revealing that his life has taken an unexpected turn. He also highlighted the impact that these types of opportunities can have on people’s lives: “All this is thanks to Santiago Matías, for the opportunity he gave us and for the exposure we have received. My mom was in the second season, and nobody knows what could happen in a third. If it comes, we will be there, prepared.” The young content creator, who had initially tried to enter the house on his own, now feels more grateful than ever for his mother’s success. “Mom always wanted to be in there, and I said ‘let’s make it possible,’ because she deserved it. Today I feel happy and good about everything that is happening,” added Lázaro, visibly moved by the impact this project has had on his life. To close, Lázaro made it clear his total support for his mother, who continues to grow within the digital world, inviting the followers of De Último Minuto to follow her. “If you want to keep seeing her, you can follow her on Instagram, @MamiNolas. Thank you all, and thank you to Santiago Matías, for this dream come true. We are ready for whatever comes!” Care Pepita, also known on social media as Mami Nolas, is one of the creators based in the United States most supported by the diaspora. Together with Lázaro, her son, they continue to create content on social media that reflects circumstances of their daily lives, this being one of the approaches that has allowed her to connect the most with her audience.
