¡Viral! Security guard prevents El Blachy from going on stage for not recognizing him

Security agent doesn’t recognize El Blachy and prevents him from going on stage during his show in Moca where he was going to perform. Moca, DR – The typical merengue singer El Blachy, starred in an unusual moment during the Patron Saint Festivities of Moca, dedicated to the Virgen del Rosario, when a security agent forbade him to go on stage for not recognizing him as the main artist. The event occurred just as the performer of “Hello, Lost One” was about to go on stage with the microphone in hand, while his musical group had already started the intro of their performance. However, when trying to climb the stairs, he was stopped by security, who apparently didn’t know who he was.

Far from being annoyed, Blachy took the situation with humor and joked with the audience present, who witnessed the curious moment. Then he hugged the security guard and finally went up to the stage to start his show, amid applause and laughter.

“The man is working,” the singer said with a laugh as he went on stage.

The video of the incident quickly went viral on social media, generating thousands of comments. Among them, one stood out that said: “Very good security, he’s doing his job so well that he didn’t even want to let the artist himself go on stage.”

Although some considered the moment embarrassing, for El Blachy it was simply a funny scene. Later, through his social media, the artist expressed that he did not blame the gentleman for not recognizing him: “He is a grown man, and not everyone is obliged to know me”, he wrote with total humility.
