More images have emerged of the devastating flash floods that struck the Shishi Valley in Chitral, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan, following heavy rainfall.

At least two people have been reported dead. One of the victims was from the Broz area, while Rescue 1122 recovered another body from the Chitral River and rescued about two dozen people from multiple locations.

Initial reports indicate that at least 40 structures, including a gas station, were destroyed, and several vehicles were swept away by the floodwaters.

Authorities also reported that the Chitral–Peshawar and Chitral–Shandur highways remain closed after bridges and sections of road were washed away. Damage to a fiber-optic line in Broz has also disrupted internet service in the area.
