Authorities in Boston, Massachusetts, have ruled the death of 18-year-old Yoseliani Ann Marte Ocasio, a Dominican national, a homicide after she was found with a gunshot wound inside a home in the Mattapan neighborhood.

Police said Marte Ocasio was discovered dead at a residence on Malta Road on July 18. On Thursday, the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner officially classified her death as a homicide.

Authorities have not announced any arrests or identified any suspects in connection with the shooting, and the investigation remains ongoing.
