One of the five largest diamonds in modern Russia is found

A unique 340-carat diamond of high quality was extracted in the Russian province of Arkhangelsk, according to reported by the region’s governor, Alexander Tsybulski.

“It’s a record in the entire history of the industrial exploitation of this mine, where [the company] AGD Diamonds works, and it’s one of the five largest diamonds extracted in modern Russia,” wrote Tsybulski.

“The proportion of these crystals does not exceed 2% of all natural diamonds,” the governor noted, indicating that the stone not only impresses with its size, but also with its exceptional quality, which gives it great value in the market.
