Trump says the U.S. inflicted one of the most devastating bombings in the history of the Middle East against Iran
The President of the United States, Donald Trump, stated that the US Army has carried out “one of the most devastating bombings in the history of the Middle East”.
“Moments ago, under my orders, the United States Central Command carried out one of the most devastating bombings in the history of the Middle East and completely destroyed all military targets of Iran’s crown jewel, Kharg Island,” wrote the US president on his Truth Social platform.

In the island referred to by Trump, key infrastructure for the export of Iranian oil is located. From the island, 90% of the country’s total crude oil exports are managed. “Our weapons are the most powerful and sophisticated the world has ever known. But, for reasons of decency, I have decided not to destroy the island’s oil infrastructure,” the occupant of the White House pointed out. However, he added that if Iran or other countries interfere with the passage of ships through the Strait of Hormuz, he will immediately reconsider that decision.
