A video showing a woman shaking uncontrollably after meeting self-proclaimed apostle Kathryn Krick at a book-signing event in South Carolina has sparked widespread debate online and renewed scrutiny of the Los Angeles-based religious leader.
The incident is not the first of its kind involving Krick. Similar videos from her ministry have shown followers convulsing, collapsing, or displaying intense physical reactions during prayer sessions. Most recently, footage from a book-signing event in Houston, Texas, promoting her latest book, Ignite Revival, showed several attendees falling to the ground and shaking as Krick prayed over them.
Krick, who leads Five-Fold Church (5F) in Los Angeles and identifies herself as an “apostle” despite having no formal theological training, said the events demonstrate God’s power beyond the walls of a church. Supporters claim participants experience healing, spiritual freedom, and personal transformation.
However, the scenes have drawn criticism from several Christian leaders and influencers, who argue that the manifestations are emotionally manipulated and warn that Krick’s followers may be being deceived. The debate has intensified on social media as videos of the gatherings continue to circulate widely.
