Alfredo Acebal Rizek, president of operations for the Giants, who highlighted the importance of adding the pitcher as part of the team’s competitive plan. The executive also reaffirmed the franchise’s commitment to its fans:“We have announced our third imported player, a right-handed pitcher with a great desire to participate in our league and who has experience in the Caribbean, after his recent stint in Mexico with the Guerreros de Oaxaca. With his incorporation, we already have three important arms to face the next season,” expressed Acebal Rizek.
With this signing, Reid Birlingmair joins pitchers Scott Engler and Daniel Mengden as the reinforcements confirmed by the Gigantes del Cibao, who thus become the first LIDOM team to complete three foreign incorporations for the 2025-2026 season.“We continue to work tirelessly because we have clear goals for the season.
