In 37 games played as a reliever, he pitched 34.1 innings with an ERA of 4.98, recording a record of 8 wins and 1 loss. In addition, he allowed 21 runs (19 earned), gave 18 walks and struck out 44 batters, finishing with a WHIP of 1.60. The information was provided by Lic. Alfredo Acebal Rizek, president of operations for the Giants, who highlighted the importance of adding the pitcher as part of the team’s competitive plan.

“We have announced our third imported player, a right-handed pitcher with a great desire to participate in our league and who has experience in the Caribbean, after his recent stint in Mexico with the Guerreros de Oaxaca. With his incorporation, we already have three important arms to face the next season,” expressed Acebal Rizek.

The executive also reaffirmed the franchise’s commitment to its fans:

“We continue to work tirelessly because we have clear goals for the season. The first is to achieve qualification, as our commitment is Giant to the fans and to the entire Cibao region.”

With this signing, Reid Birlingmair joins pitchers Scott Engler and Daniel Mengden as the reinforcements confirmed by the Gigantes del Cibao, who thus become the first LIDOM team to complete three foreign incorporations for the 2025-2026 season.
