SANTO DOMINGO. – The Dominican Republic Professional Baseball League (LIDOM) announced this Tuesday that outfielder Raimel Tapia, from the Estrellas Orientales, and pitcher Abdiel Mendoza, from the Águilas Cibaeñas, were selected as MVP of the Week corresponding to the period of November 19 to 23, 2025, during the fifth presentation of the awards presented by Ron Ozama.

Tapia received recognition for the first time in his career, while Mendoza achieved the 19th MVP selection for an Águilas player, the most in the history of these awards since the league took over the selection in the 2022-23 season.Raimel Tapia Dominates with the Bat
The outfielder for the Estrellas Orientales was the most outstanding offensive figure of the week, receiving 60 votes from the 111 journalists participating in the election. Tapia batted for “.458” (11 hits in 24 at-bats), with “five RBIs”, “15 total bases”, and an offensive line of:- OBP: .458

- OPS: 1.083
