SANTO DOMINGO. The Bameso club climbed to the top of group B after defeating Rafael Barias 82-73 this Tuesday, in the continuation of the regular season -in its seventh date- in the 49 TBS Distrito 2025.

The match took place at the Ricardo -Gioriver- Arias Volleyball Palace of the Juan Pablo Duarte Olympic Center, official venue of the capital city tournament.
The Barrio Mejoramiento Social squad tied in wins and losses, 3-1, with the San Lázaro team, which in the first game of this Tuesday’s double-header defeated El Millón 99-93, who fell to 0-4.
The Barians are stationed in second place in the standings with a 2-2 record.
The imported Burrel finished the match with a double-double of 20 points and 11 rebounds, accompanied by four assists, and the Santo Domingo reinforcement Jonathan Bello contributed 11 units.
Likewise, Miguel Simón with nine digits and 13 rebounds, Jean Carlos Quesada and Luixander Blanco scored nine apiece, helped the Bamesian cause.
For the Barianos, Bryan Ramirez stood out with 19 points, the American reinforcement Austin Trice completed double figures with 12 baskets and 10 rebounds, Jeff Allen 11 and Edgar Sosa helped with 10 more points plus four assists.
The TBS District 2025 is organized by the National District Basketball Association (Abadina), chaired by Colonel (PN) Diego Pesqueira, and the Organizing Committee is headed by José Ignacio Paliza, Minister of the Presidency.
This year’s event is dedicated to the Dominican Sports Immortal Evaristo Pérez, former member of the national basketball team and former player of the San Carlos squad.
