SANTO DOMINGO, RD.– Las Águilas de Guachupita continúan dominando el baloncesto femenino del país tras conquistar su
tercer título consecutivo, al vencer este martes 72-67 al combinado de las Cinco Esquinas del club San Carlos, completando así una barrida 3-0 en la serie final del
XII Torneo Nacional de Baloncesto Superior Interclubes Femenino “No Violencia de Género”.

The decisive match was held at the sports center of the Renacer club, in the capital sector of Guachupita, where the champions lifted the
Seaboard “Clean Energy” Cup after dominating the series agreed to the best of five games (5-3).
Featured Performances
The winning offensive was led by Santiago’s
Mary Coronado, who contributed 18 points and seven rebounds, while Hatomayor’s
Jennifer Jiménez shone with 13 points, eight rebounds and five assists.
Katherine Constanza also contributed nine points,
Luzmaury Rodríguez with eight and five rebounds, and
Sugey Monsac with seven points and 10 captures.
By San Carlos,
Audry Casto led with 23 points, followed by
Ana Villanueva with 14 units and 22 rebounds,
Tawny Olivero with 12 points and 21 rebounds, and
Perla Figueroa with 11 points.
Trophy Presentation
The Eagles added their third consecutive crown (2023, 2024, and 2025), in a tournament organized by the
Dominican Federation of Clubs (Fedoclubes), presided over by
Roberto Ramírez. Ramírez, along with
Fernando Geraldino, Social Responsibility Manager of Seaboard, presented the Seaboard Cup to the champion team, received by the club president,
Zuleyda Monsac, the general manager
Luis Rojas, and the coach
Amílcar González.
González has directed the 2024 and 2025 championships, completing the trilogy started in 2023 under the direction of Dagoberto Montás. During these three titles, the Eagles have recorded an impressive record of
47-3 between regular season, semifinals and finals.
