The former footballer and 1994 Ballon d’Or winner, Hristo Stoichkov, will be present in the country
Santo Domingo.- The Dominican Football Federation, through its Technical Development and Compliance Department and the Education and Training Department, announces the beginning of the training of the FIFA Football for Schools (F4S) program, which will take place on April 23 and 24 at the FDF High Performance Center. This training day will have the participation of 45 teachers and monitors from different regions of the country, who will assume the commitment to replicate the contents of the program in their respective schools and high schools, directly impacting hundreds of children and adolescents through football as an educational tool.As part of this initiative, a Grassroots Football Festival will be held on April 25 at the same venue, where participants will put into practice the knowledge acquired in a dynamic, recreational and formative environment.
The event will feature the special presence of former footballer and 1994 Ballon d’Or winner, Hristo Stoichkov, who will accompany this important activity, contributing his experience and career to the development of football in the country.
