Santo Domingo.– The Metropolitan Bus Services Operator (OMSA) informed that starting this Monday, August 10, the commercial operation of the 27 de Febrero Corridor will begin under the integrated fare scheme, at a cost of RD$35.00 per trip.
With this addition, the corridor becomes part of the Greater Santo Domingo Integrated Transport System, allowing passengers to combine their trips with other mass transit services through a single payment system.
The OMSA explained that the integration seeks to facilitate user mobility, reduce connection times between routes, and offer a more efficient transport alternative for those who commute daily through the capital.
Payment for the fare will be made primarily electronically through the Metro Card, the SDGO card, and contactless Visa and Mastercard bank cards. However, during a transition period, cash payment will also be accepted, provided that the user provides the exact amount of RD$35.00.
