Santo Domingo Norte. – President Luis Abinader concluded the work meeting this Saturday with government officials and social representatives in Santo Domingo Norte, where the projects in execution, pending works and those to be included in the 2026 budget were evaluated.

The president highlighted that these types of meetings are held in the main municipalities of the country with the purpose of following up with the communities, reviewing the status of the works and accelerating those that are progressing slowly, as well as planning new initiatives.

“We were able to make good progress with all the institutions to execute and make the government’s work more efficient,” said Abinader, who announced that this Sunday he will lead a new working meeting in Santiago.

For her part, the mayor of Santo Domingo Norte, Betty Gerónimo, explained that during the meeting the main needs of the municipality were presented, including the asphalting and conditioning of streets, the sanitation of canals and the intervention in sports areas and public works. She specified that investment amounts have not yet been announced, as each institution must carry out surveys to define the figures.

The working table also included representatives from La Victoria and community boards, who presented their local problems to be channeled through the corresponding institutions.
